Lamb's Pride Worsted by Brown Sheep Company is a single-ply, heavy-worsted wieght yarn that comes in heathers and solids. This yarn is made in Nebraska, USA, and it is a favorite of many Maine knitters. Wonderful for mittens, sweaters and felted projects.
Each 4 ounce pull-skein is 190 yards. The label needle recommendation is a size US 8 needle for a gauge of 4.5 sts. per inch. Because this yarn is 85% wool and 15% mohair, it can be used at a larger gauge, depending on the project.
Hand wash, lay flat to dry.
