Jagger Ragg 3 ply wool, is Jagger Spun's take on traditional Ragg wool.
Two strand of a color are plied with one strand of a contrasting color in this 3 ply made from the same singles they spin for all weights of our Heathers.
And, as it’s the same weight as their Heather 3/8, there’s an endless array of possible color combinations to add a tweedy look to your knitting or weaving.
- Weight/Yardage: 100g/332y
- Fiber Content: 100% three-ply wool
- Gauge: 5.5-6 sts/in on US 3-5
- Care: Hand wash cool, lay flat to dry
To see what this new yarn may look like as a sleeve of a sweater, we knit the Onyx Mitts, which are a longer length fingerless mitt. We loved the results! You can knit two pair with one skein.
Jagger Spun, of Springvale, has been producing spun yarns since the 1880’s when Uriah Jagger arrived from England and established a worsted spinning operation in the Mousam Valley of southern Maine.
